Alicia DeLia is a nationally recognized leader in philanthropy and nonprofit management consulting who has dedicated her career to understanding the intersection of leadership, management, impact investing philanthropy and social change in the US and abroad. Alicia is committed to seeing organizations thrive and leaders from all backgrounds excel in the social enterprise space.
Prior to launching her consulting practice, Alicia held a number of positions supporting small businesses, agricultural cooperatives and social enterprises in Latin America and Africa. For nearly a decade she worked as a microfinance researcher and practitioner, focusing on the role of microfinance to build assets, transform communities and empower women as social change agents.
Alicia holds a Masters Degree concentrating in Latin American Economic Development from New York University and a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Baruch College. Alicia serves as a Civil and Human Rights Commissioner for the Township of Bloomfield.
